Fendi FW 2012

This day, I went to see the new Fendi collection, which I thought was quite brilliant. I do like the idea of bird's wings on the shoulder (in a sophisticated sort of way, not as a Halloween costume way), but seeing so much fur under the temperature of 33 degrees outside makes me sweat. The bags are my favourite, and those iPad cases, fascinating but weighted so much more than the iPad itself... hmm

Missoni Resort 2012

When I think of resort collection, I think of Missoni. Colours and prints have been Missoni's signature, and the label has done it so well. In a gloomy and cold day in Australia, seeing this collection helps lighten me up a bit.

Now I want to book a trip to Morocco.

Him and Her

If I ask you to name a label for the above 2 lookbooks, what would you have said? Yes ladies and gentlemen, they are H&M's FW 2011 lookbook. I didn't get it right when I first saw it as well. Looks like the Swedish fashion house is looking for some repositioning. I am actually quite happy to see that as long as they are still affordable (can't price the products too low, think about the poor factory workers in India!).

I absolutely drool over the mens collection this season. That dark green checker blazer would be a perfect birthday present for my brother. And I'll subtly hint him about my Christmas present too. This is what siblings are for, right?

Madewell Fall 2011

Madewell knows well about being stylish, practical and fun. With their newest 2011 Fall lookbook, they sure know how to mix and match too. I really want to meet the stylist/creative director for this collection, if I do, I will invite him/her to lunch, then we'll talk, and talk, and talk... and talk. I am sure we'll be bff in no time. I mean, if you can relate to a person's style and aethestic so much, it gotta mean something right?! I picked my favourite 5 looks (oh boy you have no idea how hard it was, I want everything from there). And now I am going to check their website to see if they do international shipping. Bisou.
